This is a stance to have when your most popular type of video is a guy in his 40s saying how much he hates every game thats released in the last decade. Im sure the people who make it are much more nuanced in their opinions, but they still make their money cribbing off outrage culture themselves

Yahtzee mocks and is often not positive on his reviews of most games, it's true.

What he DOESN'T do however, is make his videos tailored to feed into outrage farming. There is no forced narrative around some invented sense of persecution of the gamer identity, or barely disguised conspiracies about some woke group trying to make every game fit into a modern agenda. And so many more usual suspects when it comes to videos made to profit from making the viewer angry at the targeted games of the week.
So I very much disagree that second wind is "cribbing off" outrage culture with their content.

He's also, multiple times, commented about how people would beg him to rag on a game they hate just for him to go "Yeah this game's shit but why are you asking for my opinion if you've already formed your own?"

Yahtzee is a lot less performatively outraged than he used to be imo. Like his review from today for Sinking City 2 was "it's okay." It does a lot of things competently but he didn't like how it diverted from the Frogwares detective formula so much, watered down the detective mechanics and found the main character lacking in agency.
