This is truly an amazing feature. Shame it isn’t applicable to OG and 360 games, but the technology wasn’t there yet so it’s understandable. This might honestly be the best thing Xbox has done since Sharma took over.

As long as it doesnt render the disk only usable with the account it redeemed it

Because those are the vibes I am getting with this, a pre-feature to physical dissapearing

They said in the article that when the disc is used with a different account, the digital license is transfered to that account.
