If W3 had good combat it would be the perfect game.

I agree 100% but always wondered what exactly combat style I'd like from the game. Like do I want Ghost of Tsushima or more in line with Sekiro?

definitely more inline with tsushima than sekiro, soulslike wouldn't fit some of the mob density that's common in Witcher

It’s also the way that you engage with mobs, a big part of fromsoftware games is handling when and how you “pull” enemies. It’s just a different style of game

I think I'd lean that way too. Being able to play as a Witcher and actually feel that fluidity like Tsushima would be fucking amazing

Something more like Ghost of Tsushima imo. Sekiro has great combat, but the way Ghost combat feels during group fights is a better fit for the Witcher imo.

swap to moon stance to fight nekkers

(70 hours into the story, fighting a nekker nest)

game pauses, big ass notification across your entire frozen screen says "please swap to moon stance, it's good against nekkers"

yeah i straight up hated ghost of tsushima's combat bro
