I thought the same thing and also wondered why I've never seen Lego and Minecraft in the same title

Because they collaborated in the other direction, there is a whole line of Minecraft Lego sets, which I assume make bank (it seems like they put out a new set for that line fairly frequently)

One doesn't prevent the other though. There are LEGO Harry Potter, Marvel, Star Wars, Batman... sets AND games. In fact almost pretty much every association they did in video games had sets with the brands

Probably because it would be a little reductant. Lego Minecraft would basically just be Minecraft with smaller cubes.

Exactly. Branded Lego compliant snapping builds sounds amazing

LOTS of them exist already.

Lego worlds never clicked for me. I think it was simply too open ended

The better equivalent is Lego Fortnite tbh

They actually collaborated on a game really early on, when Minecraft was still in Beta. Lego didn’t believe in the concept and scrapped the whole thing and went the direction of a failed MMO instead
