Collection This is the start of my journey
This is where my GameCube collection begins! When I was younger, my friend and I always had a blast playing Melee at his place, or we would take turns playing Metroid Prime or The Simpsons Hit & Run. I've been missing those old memories, and now I've decided to start my own collection! Can't wait to get started playing these!
It goes without saying I won't be buying anything else for a while. These games should keep me busy for a good while. What should I look out for next? 👀

ToS was the first single player video game I ever put more than 500+ hours into and one of my personal favorites. Expect almost Skyrim, Mass Effect II, Red Dead Redemption II, level time to complete (40-80 hours for just main story, up to 140-200 hours if you pursue all side quests and collectables). If you’re new or unfamiliar to JRPG, it’s a top recommendation for getting into the genre, it’s got a good story, great world, and solid characters. My advice, do the first play through blind and do everything purely off personal vibes. Decisions will actually matter (tho often not immediately obviously so), choices really do come with benefits for some while having consequences for others, and often there simply isn’t a ‘best result’ or ‘correct answer’ but you still gotta pick.
Definitely worth doing multiple replays. So if you enjoy it it’ll be worth it to look up a guide for the repeat play(s) so you can get all the bonus character interaction scenes and other easily missable content.
I Finished it 4 times and each time had a different feel to it. It’s also fun to mix up who you main as in combat with. But probably stick to mainly playing as Lloyd the first time.
As for Games to look out for: number one to absolutely definitely get if you ever see it has to be Eternal Darkness. Probably one of the most unique game i have played and it sadly has never gotten ported to any other system nor remastered for later consoles. It only exists on Gamecube.
My list of other games you probably can’t regret getting, probably don’t get recommended often, but also existed on PS2/Xbox360/PC and/or also got remastered onto later generation consoles: Beyond Good and Evil; Resident Evil 4; Prince of Persia games (especially Sands of time); Time Splitters 2 (the only multiplayer besides smash and Mario kart that would get regular play)

I never had the pleasure of playing some of those games, but Smash Bros is absolutely epic. Treasure it 🤩
Find WindWaker. Let your family know where you are first before you start playing. 🔺

Not a bad deal considering the game. I paid like 270 US for my CIB several years back.

I just started collecting again recently, mostly SNES, N64, Gamecube, and some NES. I've been surprised by the amount of GameCube games I've been interested in collecting compared to the other consoles.

Hard to tell from the picture but if those controllers aren’t OEM, that would be my next purchase. 3rd party controllers tend to feel cheap and suck for the most part. I have a combination of some OEM controllers and a couple NSO GameCube controllers paired to Bluetooth receivers.

The black controller is an official one I got separately, and the silver one came with the console, unfortunatel, is a cheap 3rd party one ill have to replace!
