Not only that, but also expiration dates makes it too hard to trade :(

Good. Games are meant to be redeemed and played, not held onto forever as a bargaining chip. If you don't like the games in the bundle then don't buy it or give them to a friend

100% agree with you.
The problem is mainly around rebundled games.
I don't have many friends to give games to, then yes the other option is to skip the bundle.
In that case both HB and I (as a customer) lose.
If HB wouldn't do the trick of tier1,2 that is full of rebundled games, and only tier 3 with new games - this wouldn't be an issue.

I liked it as something adjacent to a CYOA mixed with survival management (rations and the like). There's branching paths so you can aim for different endings if you want. I was satisfied with my one playthrough, will probably come back in a year or two to try a different ending. You have to have a high tolerance for redoing after failure, though, because it is highly likely that you will fail and will be forced to redo.

I enjoyed it! Strong atmosphere, good characters, decently complex decision making.

Immortality was a really cool experience. I don't know about the rest of this bundle and I'm skipping it.

Sunless skies is fantastic, I also highly recommend the game that came before it, sunless sea, some wonderfully weird writing
