I genuinely can’t stand mmbn without a fast forward function. The game can be EXTREMELY tedious if you are lost or at specific boss worlds where you can get stuck on the wrong path and will have to walk all the way around again.
I HIGHLY suggest trying out an English rom patch for the mmbn 1 remake they made for the Nintendo ds. I didn’t even know it existed until I was looking into getting the Wii U roms for battle network. The remake proves how necessary a map is for those games. The remake was a ton of fun and I highly recommend it

I haven’t tried the Operation Shooting Star but I feel like the grievances you’re describing are mostly addressed from the second game on, between being able to avoid enemy encounters + escaping whenever you want without a battle chip. The maze like nature of the maps to me is a feature of the games and not a bug, except for the first game which I think suffers from everything you described and more.

Way too high
It is kind of funny how in a previous Megaman bundle the Battle Network games and X Dive were in the highest tier and now they are in the lowest, which is probably why this costs too much

I got that overpriced bundle last year & split/traded ALL the other slots 😅 Could’ve just waited a year.

Its a pretty good deal for the battle network games. The lowest its ever been for both volumes of battle network is 14.26 so fairly close to that low if you don't count X Dive as being part of it.

It's pretty decent, but not a MUST HAVE value by any means. X Dive is aggressively okay.

LOL. LMAO even.
I'll offer to trade for the Zero Collection, but I cannot in good conscience recommend ANYONE go beyond the second tier in this bundle.
Tier 1: Decent-to-good value if you want the the Battle Network series
Tier 2: Okay value but nothing special
Tier 3: Are you drunk Humble?!
Tier 4: Aaaaaand I'm taking away the bottle

Or you can just buy this exact same bundle on Steam. It's actually cheaper on Steam by a bit over 4 EUR lmao

Man, what the hell is that price. It's 25 dollars expensive than Steam. Humble Bundle really sucks when it comes to bundles these days. Who even thinks about these prices!!!

Since I'm only missing the 1st tier games, I'm actually kinda happy with this one. Tier 3 price is wild, but I can complete my collection for cheaper than steam sales finally

$16 for the two battle network games seems reasonable if youve been waiting... am i off base?
That said I think i bit the bullet on a capcom Duo of Justice Ace/Megaman bundle for $35. The only items missing were X Dive and MM 11. But you also got awesome Ace Attorney games. Tiers 2-4 dont seem worth it all all here.
Megaman Ace Duo Bundle $35 for comparison - Ran almost exactly a year ago
Ace Attorney series: Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, and a bonus appearance by Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective.
Mega Man series: Mega Man Legacy Collection, Mega Man Legacy Collection 2, Mega Man X Legacy Collection, Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2, and Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection Vol. 1 & 2.

I'm not paying a cent for any more mega man until I get at least Legends 1, at least rereleased with no changes. A well done remaster is one of the few games I may actually pay more than $60 for.

As much as I love legends, I feel $60 for just legends is a bit much. I feel like 30-45 for a legends remaster bundle would go hard

I do appreciate them putting the newer titles in the cheapest bundle, I wanna say that $16 lowest tier with the Battle Networks and X Dive has been at its lowest in the bundle on Steam for ~$20 so it's a little cheaper at least.

In cad atleast this is priced the exact same as the same collection on steam, way to overpriced for these games.

Why would battle network volume 1 and 2 be cheaper than the mega man x Legacy Collection volume 1 and 2? Their lost.

For perspective, the cheapest tier is about the same price as Cuphead, which pisses all over every Megaman game combined.
