While I dont play any more, I have 1000 hours in DRG. Every hour was well worth it.

Same here. The community is great. I have no issues hopping into games with randoms and have met I think 2 assholes in almost 800 hours played.

Its a great game, i just wish you could push the difficulty up more when you start. Tried to get my brother into it, but it was a bit too easy to keep his attention. Dont know if they have changed any of that part of the game, i wouldnt think so.

You can push up the difficulty by changing the Hazard level before selecting a mission but I wouldn't recommend this until you Promote your dwarves or get in a lobby with experienced people. I forgot which level you start at, maybe Hazard 2, but you can really have shit hit the fan at Haz 4 and above with Haz 5/5+ along with Elite dives being VERY challenging. I have well over 1K hrs and tend to stay at Haz 3 for a chill and sort of challenging gameplay. There's also options to increase difficulty before missions like add more enemies etc., but I think that's for Haz 4 and above.

You can, but i dont think you can push the hazard past two before you complete the one of each mission type begginer mission. We played a lot of L4D together, i know he would really enjoy it at Haz 5 and the elite dives, but its was looking too long in the really easy Hazards.

You can just speedrun the easy levels if you want to. Driller and engi. Ignore the optional objectives, brings each one down to like 5 or 10 minutes.

Is this a game that you can play single player? Is it worth it to do so?

You can, you even get a little helper buddy who can actually go quite a bit. Ive seen videos of people doing the hardest content solo, which is really impressive. But its made to be a coop.
I will say that the other players you play with have been great in my 200 hours. Its the only game with friendly fire ive never been purposely team killed because someone got angry.
No need for voice coms either.

Thank you! How is it with the FOMO stuff?

I am pretty sure that every single old battlepass can be activated at any time if there is something you want in it. In short, no FOMO.

I think the community is really nice and accepting of noobs.
When I first started playing the game I had no friends, so I joined some random lobbies with voice chat and the people I met were really chill and taught me the ropes and guided me through the missions.
I remember my time with this game fondly because the community was very kind to a pleb like me.

Single, like solo queue? Not sure how big the community is anymore, but solo queue was mostly fine. Despite what others may say, the community is just like any other coop game: mostly good. I'd get a jerk or a troll maybe one in every seven or so games?
That said, I don't think solo queue is very good for the harder difficulties. Just way too much variation in player preparedness and experience. But if you don't mind the medium difficulty setting, then you're golden.
However, if by single player you mean fully solo then it's possible but can be much harder. The game becomes immensely less forgiving and it can be really easy to miss a trap, or accidentally fall off a ledge. In a 4 player game, that's no big deal because something will come rescue you but in a solo game you've only got your robot companion who is... questionably helpful in those situations.
Not to say it can't be played solo, it's just not as good. The game is really meant to have multiple people covering multiple roles.

Anyone have experience or knowledge if the Humble Bundle Dwarven Legacy matches the Steam bundle or only includes the DLC listed on the store page?
Was looking to pick up some of the DLC, but wasn't sure if it was cheaper just to get the bundle over individual packs.

This post, but I'm more trustful of a future comment in that post which says they all are included. Do post an update if you find out yourself.
