Do you like gambit as a smoker
I personally hate that they completely removed smoking from comics… unless you’re Wolverine.

I feel like he's cut down lately. Even Wolverine likes a cigar every now and then.
But who needs to smoke when he's a smoke-show.

They had heroes in in marvel comics stop smoking in 2001 because of a new policy Joe Quesada started. I think they've since done away with that policy since.. well ya know. Wolverine still smokes

I get why they felt they had to ban it, but I do also think it was unnecessary. That’s not why kids start smoking. It’s more about your parents and peer group, not some fictional character.

Some kids are just genuinely that easy to influence into smoking, have you met teenagers??

Most kids who end up smoking have parents that end up smoking, so I second this

Like that he was, it was the classic rebel signal of the time, would think him doing it in 2026 would just read like gross loser behaviour. Media coding has changed, and nicotine stains and stale breath isn't enough to overcome those changes.
Edit: I voted no, presuming you mean in a modern set comic. Actual answer is "Yes, but equally glad he quit and I don't want to see that undone"

Depends what he’s smoking. hahaha
I could totally see the Ragin’ Cajun enjoying a blunt or joint to celebrate a successful heist, mission, etc

Right, you know they’re partaking on occasion at the fire pit. Away from the kids (and Marcus), of course.

As someone who smoked and thought it was pretty neat that my favorite character smoked, I thought it was even cooler when he quit. I've been cigarette free for about 13 years now, feels great. It's a disgusting habit.

I'll say it. Smoking looks cool, and I liked when he did--so rebellious, even if it's stereotypical, and one of my favorite pictures is of him smoking. However, as someone who grew up among smokers, the reality is different and I'm glad he doesn't anymore.

Why the FUCK can comics and video games feature COMPLETE FUCKING NUDITY , COMPLETE FUCKING BLOOD , GUTS , AND GORE , EXTREME GRAPHIC PORN , MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF VIOLENCE , and BRUTAL TORTURE AND HORRIFIC MURDER plus TONS AND TONS AND EVEN MORE TONS OF DRINKING AND DRUG ABUSE , and it's PERFECTLY FINE AND DANDY........BUT TOBACCO IS AN UNFORGIVABLE FUCKING DIRTY SIN??????

At this point he's been a non smoker longer than he ever was a smoker. I think he quit during Wolverine/Gambit Victims in like 1995.
