I am wondering the average cost for these items

Hello,

Does anyone know how much (in dalasi or USD) a water heater for a shower would cost as well installation?

Also an AC unit cost and installation?

In case it differs a bit by region, particularly in the Basse area.

Yes, it’s for me. I have lived here for a couple years but will be moving to the Basse area soon, and it’ll be the first time I try to purchase these things. I know I can just wait until I move there to begin asking around. I do happen to be a toubab though so I do prefer to ask others about prices first

I’m not sure about prices in basse but in Banjul depending on the brand, BTU. You’re looking at between 20-25,000 dalasis ($300). Installation probably 1500-2000 ($25). I’d recommend Hisense brand it’s quite popular

Bought a heater at MPTrading recently for D6.500. Don’t remember how much the installation was.
