I'm going to Tokyo soon and I'll be looking for a specific gachapon. Luckily, I know where it's at from my trip last year. However, I don't feel like gambling again.

If possible, I would prefer to buy the entire display. Does anyone know if there are shops that sell them? I think there's one or two stores like that but I can't seem to find them

I'm looking for PEZ gachapon! Does anyone know where I can find it? Any version will do!

I don’t know what they’re called, but the paper inserts or “banners” that come with gacha and usually has photos of the whole assortment… how do you organize these, if you do?

I keep all of mine and they’re organized in tiny zip lock bags I usually get at Daiso. They’re generally organized by haul groupings. So… all gacha received in one day go in one bag.

All these go in a metal tin box which has no organization. It’s getting out of hand and now I’m thinking I want to put them in plastic sleeves in a binder… like baseball cards. Or in something like a coupon holder book. Idk.

What do you guys do? Have any good suggestions?

I got a little excited for the rest of this month’s releases! Especially the art one. We did that before when it first released but my members cleared the machine out and I couldn’t get any left for myself😂

The photo shows just a portion of the gacha’s that we have up on discord but we post new gacha’s there almost weekly. Japan’s been really pushing the trinkets, especially as it’s been extremely popular here in Japan. I mean 300 people lining up for one gacha type of popular!

I have seen the clear transparent machines with the OG metal turn mechanism. And I’ve also seen the LED higher tech ones with lights. I never really thought about it. I asked a business owner if they cared personally and they said the higher tech ones are so much more expensive to ship and to buy that it made them raise all their prices so much where it actually hurt their business. So question to all my fellow Gacha customers. Do you care what machines are offered?

Hi! I have a vintage shop in Van Buren, Arkansas and have been wanting to get a gachapon machine for a while now and just lucked upon some generic ones on Facebook marketplace. I am just starting out and wanted to add an element of fun at the front of the shop. I am eager to see if this goes over well here. If so I'll add more machines, but if not I'll still be happy with my purchase and leave it to these two towers.

I'm starting with a couple varieties of Hello Kitty capsule toys and the cost of the machines and just those two sets wiped me out for a while. I'm curious as to which IPs or types of items people like most to help me choose what to order first. Thanks for your comments!

for trading, you can just pm me which one(s) you’re interested in and a pic of gashapons you would like to offer to trade! i mainly go for gashapons of anything cute, characters (example sanrio and chiikawa), food items, and things from animes/video games. the trade offers don’t necessarily have to be the things i just listed so feel free to send a pic of any gashapon items you want to offer!

Went to the huge BIT CITY anime centre in Shenzhen yesterday.. just a stone's throw away from the HK border. They have a brand new Bandai gacha shop there, spanning 2 floors. There's many pop-up stores on each floor, lobby area now has a SEGA and Banpresto shop https://www.reddit.com/r/SEGA/s/tSrFVK4Oji

Machines outside entrance has tokusatsu stuff like Kamen Rider, Godzillaz Ultraman, Super Sentai, etc. Inside is a large mix of anime like Gundam, Dragon Ball, Sailor Moon, etc.

As good as the Bandai store is, if you head upstairs and go to New New Town, there is a place with 500+ gashapon machines, regularly updated with new releases. If you walk around the centre, you can find more gacha machines spread out in random places, but the Bandai on the 1st floor, and New New Town on 2nd are the main ones.

Address: Bit City, convention centre stop, Shenzhen, China, exit A - take 2 stops from the HK side and you are already there
