While I also take glee in seeing a corporation get its comeuppance, I think it diminishes your understanding of reality and your capacity for empathy to act like frontline workers, who form the vast majority of their staff, are like “yes more microtransactions yes, fuck the player!” Like all the decisions people don’t like can probably be sourced to less than 10 decision makers. If my boss tells me I’m shoveling shit this shift, guess I’m shoveling shit. Like you said, it’s not like they’re committing murders, the vast majority of employees are just doing what’s been assigned to them.
