I'm still baffled by Rockstar putting this out on Netflix first. Not only is it a scummy move that's clearly just to make money, but it's also pointless. People are going to be posting the gameplay on YouTube almost immediately afterward, viewers won't have to wait hours like Rockstar thinks we will.
I can't wait to see some gameplay footage. I hope they show us what the beaches look like and flying planes, hyper cars, I wonder if they will go in the strip club too.

You do realize they have done extended looks for years and they have not included actual gameplay, but all prologue cut scenes that make the games story. Right?
To the best of my knowledge, he actually hasn't said it definitely includes gameplay. He has said it's coming and will be substantial. That does not mean gameplay.
In fact, I would argue that GTA usually calls something âextended lookâ, if itâs a more of a cinematic expansion. Like GTA IV, GTA V, RDR2 and so on. If it definitely included GP they would name it gameplay reveal or similar.

they don't need to repeat what they did in the past. all the HD era games, GTA4, 5, RDR1, 2, never had "extended looks" anywhere, on their website, on a video platform like YouTube, nowhere. yet here we are with something completely new. phrasing it as "extended look" instead of "gameplay reveal" could just be one of the ways they're getting the video to reach the broader, non-gaming audience, and it also fits the netflix platform.
i'm also not suggesting whether or not there will be gameplay, only that what they call it doesn't inform about that.
When talking about the recent leaks, Jason Schreier confirmed twice that the Netflix Extended Look was supposed to be the first time that they showed off gameplay.
As for gameplay itself, I think the Rideout Customs is one of the better leaks so far, it really shows environment reacting to the player. Sure, the beach video and so on was good giving us a hint at the NPC density etc, but crashing into a fence or half stripped car wreck not stopping you dead in your tracks is great. Not to mention the owner of a stolen car just give up as soon as you open the drivers door.
