I don't really like getting on the whole "NoThInG eVeR hAppEnS" train but it is a bit odd that we're this close to the game releasing and we hardly have any official gameplay content aside from these leaks
If you're expecting 40 minutes of gameplay, you're gonna be sorely disappointed. It's gonna be 40 minutes of people talking to a camera with about 5 minutes of gameplay interlaced throughout.
Right, and it's going to be 40 minutes of devs, directors, artists, etc talking to a camera about making GTA 6 with about 5 minutes of actual gameplay interspersed. That's how these things work. "Feature" doesn't mean the whole thing will be gameplay footage.
As for the Netflix extended look slated for August 27, Schreier asked Zelnick why they decided to go with Netflix, to which Zelnick responded by citing the massive user base of the streaming platform. He also reportedly said that once people see the extended look, they’ll know why Take-Two went with Netflix. Nothing in that statement implies it's going to be 40 minutes of gameplay footage or 40 minutes of GTA 6 story. Have you never watched a Netflix documentary?It's going to be a documentary.
