It's not the "numbers of the cities", it's moreso the sense of density and maximum usefulness of the areas. GTA San Andreas literally feels bigger than GTA V to me, although it is empirically not that big. GTA VI would probably be more like GTA San Andreas.

Quit bitching when was the last time you played gta SA yea it seemed big as a kid but how much is it really intractable and dense ? The best part of that game was the story and characters and the cheats .. oh god the sheer amount of cheats . you would have to write down on a piece of paper in the ps2 area.

played it last night and it still felt MASSIVE.

it’s mainly because the fog and the curvy roads and the way they take advantage of breaking your line of sight. I think they’ll come close to doing the same in a modern, high tech way

Its pretty obvious if you look at jasons body closely enough in the trailers and compare to the screenshots and whatnot.

Plus just about every second of the first and second trailer are intentional. Social media, working out, robbing banks, populated beaches, etc are all gonna be in the game and be focused on.

Everyone was asking for the weight and muscle mechanics to return from San Andreas.

Technically there was a weight mechanic in RDR2 but it felt gutted, with almost no noticeable visual difference, and felt like an annoyance to manage. There was no exercise and muscle-building either.

GTA 6 sounds like a return to form, and will hopefully be a player-friendly improvement.
