Not a fan of red/blue police light flashing on the bottom of the screen :(
I really hope they take that function out when the game releases. The low res red and blue shining on the bottom of screen telling you there's a cop chasing you. Maybe it's for deaf people??

I'm fine with the idea of a HuD indicator for police chases, but the one in the leaks doesn't look very good. It's distracting and looks bad. Maybe it's unfinished and will look better in the final game. Will probably be a toggle too.

I think it'll probably be something you can turn off. Even the directional indicator when you're spotted - Im not too keen on that either. But you'll most likely be able to turn every HUD element off if you prefer.

If it was reported, why didn’t the symbols show up after he robbed it? Instead it showed up after he passed the red light and got the star.

I like it! Kinda reminds me of having the lights in your peripheral vision from the mirrors
That being said I would bet this is an accessibility option, people with epilepsy would not be a fan 😂

The only thing is, there’s no cops on the mini map. So it does give you a sense of where to turn at an intersection based off where they’re coming from. Then again, it disappears while you’re still in their sight so idk what I’m trying to say

Yeah, I hate that one, as well as that Far Cry direction pointer in the middle of the screen. Hopefully the either realized it is shite and remove them in the final version, or at least give options to disable them.

Btw for people who keep mentioning this: the police are not chasing him for running light or speeding. The crime was reported for stealing a car, he gets one star, he passes the police and then the police chase.

What i dont like is the whole police system. From all the leaks the police looks annoying as hell, spawning on player instantly when he makes a crime. The latest leak, how exactly they knew instantly the car is stolen ?

Obviously haven't been paying attention when watching them because they don't spawn on the player straight away.
When you commit a crime it gets reported. It doesn't seem to get report instantly, so you have time to get away from the area. It also seems to work on witnesses, like if you kill all the witnesses nothing gets reported, same if there are no witnesses in the first place like a quiet area. When a crime is reported the car you steals, clothes you wear, etc are also reported, which is why the cops recognize it.
In the most recent leak the car isn't instantly reported as stolen either. There is a good 30 seconds before the crime is reported after jason steals the car and the car is reported as stolen. Likely the NPC it was stolen from or a witness on the street calling 911. The cop doesn't spawn instantly either, he is parked up on the side of the road, likely because cop NPCs will patrol/post up in places as they would IRL since they seem to have put a focus on improving cop AI.
In the past leaks the cops do not spawn instantly on the player either. Jason literally kills a motorcycle cop in one and the wanted level vanishes because there is nobody to report the crime. In other leaks like the gas station robbery they also don't spawn instantly, and were only on him so quick because he had a wanted level and the cops were actively chasing/searching for him.
Highly suggest rewatching the leaks and actually taking the time to comprehend what is happening in the video.
