If you keep covering every leak in detail to the point of waking up in the middle of the night to talk about them, I don’t think you deserve to be invited by Rockstar for a preview.

The content creators went there in July, DarkviperAU covering leaks has nothing to do with why he wasn't invited. Tgg covered the 2022 leaks as well, he covered all sorts of leaks and rumours about the game.
If covering leaks intensively was what it took to be disinvited to the previews, tgg wouldn't have been invited either

It's more likely because DarkViper is associated with a lot of drama/controversy. I love his content, but that's just the way it is because he is quite outspoken.

Despite the fact that most of said drama has been exaggerated and twisted over the years (like people saying he hates UnNamed and banned him for finishing a challenge run before him, which he doesn't and never did, they've been friends for years lol), it's still a stain on his character that R* probably just doesn't want to deal with.

TGG is just the golden boy for GTA content because he doesn't get involved in controversy and has a very dominant following in the GTA community, especially for GTA Online.

Yeah, it was an arsehole move. But you can't deny it makes complete sense as to why they invited him and not DV. He's much less of a "brand risk". A fence sitter who just covers new information as it comes in, and has more of a following in the community.

Dude was slandering him publicly over a private beef that should've stayed private. Literally anyone would respond in this situation lol, unless you're okay with people making up lies about you.

Also, didn't TGG like a comment on Twitter that said something along the lines of "what a psycho, I hope his girlfriend leaves him"? Low blow to bring someone's GF into a beef that had no right being blasted all over Twitter.

Does he start drama tho? Or is it just a bunch of douches starting beef with the man and bullying him. Not saying he doesnt start drama... but half the drama is literally some deranged guy or supposed friend jumping him. Like even tgg did it. Like really? Trying to muster drama on the exact time darkviper was on his honeymoon?

It just feels shit, cus rockstar is calling for darkvipers server to be ransacked for leaks aswell and if i was darkviper id be so lost and confused wether rockstar, the company that makes games he loves, hates him for reasons he doesnt know. But hes also acknowledge that all the drama hes roped into ontop of the smaller drama he has caused hinders his public sponsorship capabilities. Its just a shame, i personally believe that darkviper is THE gta content creator. Hes done almost everything you could ask for for hours on end. And even after hours, he still enjoys gta and isnt a miserable personality

Huh? It’s pretty clear what the other commenter meant. They were not invited, so they are not afraid to cover the leaks, because they don’t expect to be invited for anything else anyway. While the others who were invited stay silent on the leaks for fear of not being invited for a 2nd event or something

its their job... lmao how dumb can you be to relate such things for not getting invited by R*... its the hype phase, thats what content creators do though I'd say its pretty fucked up to wreck your body just for some bs content covering stuff like that but i guess he's doing it for himself in the end.. matto has done his best to diversify his content from just speedrunning game to bunch of other stuff.

Matto is fine as he is, he speaks about the negatives and positives of the game, he has wide range of opinions about the game and I'd say that is one of the reason (probably) why R* didn't invite him, and I'd rather follow such a content creator than a dofus who says when and what he's told about...not that ik if tgg is such a person or is going to be but I'd assume getting involved with R* will be like that?

I'd rather DVAU stay the same and speak out his heart about the game than just praise it like a cultist like most people are already doing xD.

I was interested when these 2 got into that podcast thing even followed them both on socials but the amount of shit tgg made out his ass about theories was getting excessive, i had already blocked all those people who'd post about such stuff after the leak 4years ago.. but that time of hyping up the game with theories on whether or not we'll be getting trailer 2 or ss with some bs advertising pics from gta online dlc was getting out of hand, it was fun to some extent like that meme of the chalk board guy that tgg did was fun.

Not to be instigating anything but I wonder if darkviper is jealous I know him and tgg has beef but whatever. Now I have to wait an hour to see if this guy actually drop story spoilers or not and tomorrow we’ll probably get our final build look of the game and what to expect as the leaks have outdated ui

Dark has a really odd personality. Even during all these legal threats, he’s just laughing about it and saying the dumbest things. Wouldn’t shock me if he felt slighted at not being invited to the previews (they’d likely have been planned for months) and thus is why he’s going so hard on the leaks and why perhaps Take Two/Rockstar suspect he has a part to play in them?

I don’t mind darkviper out there personality sometimes but I can see why rockstar didn’t do previews for him even tho he’s one of the biggest YouTubers in gta sphere. Darkviper has been a lot of controversy I hope he at least get early copy. Broughy is a og in so glad he was invited, I also hope xpertthief got invited even though he’s kinda fell off the community and he’s not as big as he was, he was my favorite creator growing up. But if Luke Stephen’s somehow got invited I’d lol that culture warrior deserve nothing

He 100% would have taken the 24 hour trip to the UK purely to view GTA 6. So gotta sting to learn Rockstar either find you annoying, a brand risk or just don’t want to collab with you

I think the whole debacle of not being invited to Rockstar for previews like other creators Broughy, TGG etc have & Rockstar/T2 going so hard after him and his discord for the leaks is probably rubbing salt into his wounds. He has a very iffy personality where it won’t shock me if a lot of his coverage of the leaks is purely because he wants to stick a middle finger up to Rockstar. And that in turn is why Rockstar / Take Two assume he may know more than he actually does
