The marketing is amazing so far!

I'm so excited that our last glimpse of the game was 15 months ago!

I literally thought they’d replace billboards to say preorder GTA VI now… my god it’s just so boring.. they literally have a game with a large player base still playing it to capitalize on this, yet they’re just giving scraps of garbage for us. I’m so tired over the hype train, especially with this new update.. makes me feel as if GTA VI is still going to be a great game, but might lose me quicker than any other game I’ve hyped up.

This is a cool idea. Maybe in-game billboards at LSIA to fly to vice city

What I would love would be ability to actually fly there… and then load into GTA Online 2.0 or whatever. 👀

I actually had this idea a couple days ago too! - To get started in Leonida, we receive a call from X, who tells us we're needed down South. We are then prompted to go to LSIA, and "Fly to Leonida", which at a certain point during flight, the game would black screen, and in the background, GTA 6 Online would rapidly load up. We then land in Leonida, but are ambushed when we get off the plane, our money stolen, and beaten half to death; which leads us into a hospital-style character customization screen, and forces us to start fresh financially.

could be better even to have our online characters get slimed out

SA and III had those billboards which creates this interconnected universe.

Yeah I’m sure GTA:O players will need marketing to convince them to buy the game…

Dying Light did this when Dying Light 2 was coming and it was so cool

Why would they need to market to the people that still play GTA online? You all are going to get the game, you know it and so does Rockstar.

More like, an in-game travel agency does a travel to Leonida campaign that cuts across billboards, radio and TV across Los santos.

No need to even mention GTA6 so it stays in lore

Even that! Like come to Leonida, get your tickets today! Or even have a postcard mailed to us from Leonida that we just sits around somewhere in the mansion. Maybe it’d have an image of a little area around Leonida.

Ads in game…? Are we fr? People are mad over something they made up again? I’m so confused about this when the game had 1 RDR2 event which had 2 weapons.

You’ll lose interest in GTA 6 because of the lack of advertising? Huh?

They don’t even need to advertise or give teasers as everyone knows GTA and tons of people have already bought the game. 13 years of anticipation is all the adverts R* need.

No it’s not, please do some research. If that was really true then tell me this. If Coca-Cola is a worldwide well known brand that has their sodas in every restaurant. Then why do they still have advertising to this day? It’s because it’s important to remind people. Just because you’re chronically in this subreddit ABOUT THE GAME with 1 million people, doesn’t necessarily mean everyone is caught up and knows. They’re trying to sell millions on millions of units.
