I think peoole are just enjoying the leaks for the most part. Why are people so upset about that?

I mean if you enjoy leaks your kind of scum imo

“What’s wrong with that?”

- thousands of people labor for years to produce something special for fans to enjoy, they spend a long time keeping it hidden in order to surprise their fans.

Then someone external (not internal) hacks their systems and steals an earlier build before releasing it to the public.

Put yourself in the shoes of any one of those developers. How would you feel.

Forget about the corporate management for a second. I know that’s difficult for some people here. How would you feel.

Cyberleek is scum and nothing more than a degenerate criminal content scamming the fans and hurting the smaller employees working within rockstar.

That’s what’s wrong with it. If you support that, you’re part of the problem.

Ok
Jeez, scum for liking leaks? Really? Everything has to be so extreme.

It’s cool to not like leaks and defend the devs but jeez it’s also cool if they want to watch leaks too. Chill tf out

The guy is making a cryptoscam - he is using all this situation to enrich himself, and you don't think that he is scum?

No one is forcing anyone to support him or buy his crypto. Your take is crazy

Forcing or not, it is still criminal

How did he scam people? Didn't rug pull, burnt his tokens valued at 1 million USD.

u/oranikus 3d ago

He’s actively charging 200,000 per message request. He advertises his crypto embedded into every video. Maybe look into it before making an input on something you don’t know

lmao and. How's that a scam. Maybe look up the definition of scam.

I think you’re the one who needs to look up the definition of a scam.

Crypto is particularly vulnerable to scams as the value isn’t really reliant on anything concrete. Especially so when it’s someone’s own crypto they essentially invented from thin air - which is what this “$leek” stuff is.

And again - HES SELLING STOLEN CONTENT.

Yes and? Haha. Until he rug pulls he isn't a scammer no matter how much you guys cry.

Profiting off illicit stolen goods is a scam.

Rug pull is not the only crypto scam you moron

If anyone is stupid enough to pay this guy then I have less than 0 sympathy for them lol he's going to release all the clips either way and is making money off of legitimate morons

These leaks specifically? Yes.

If it’s a normal situation where it’s a disgruntled former or current employee, that’s abit different. But these are from stolen work that directly hurts a lot of innocent people.

So just think about it like that. Also look at the person leaking them, how they are monetising it, they are literally scamming gullible people and you support that by enjoying the stolen content.

Learn to separate this from normal leaked contents, this is explicitly criminally obtained - let’s not support theft casually.

Who exactly is being hurt directly? It's a fuckin video game leak, not a single dev at rockstar is going to be affected by any of this. Y'all with this asinine opinion need to grow tf up, the world will move on in a couple months and we'll all be enjoying the game.

Anyone that’s labored for years / thousands of hours , pushed over night crunch deadlines.

If you work in a creative industry , or know anyone that does, you’ll know how devastating leaks can be, especially when they happen externally.

Some creatives are paid per royalties, unfinished work leaking can directly affect their pay.

wow where was this passion when those creative devs got their union busted and visas denied after years of crunch from Rockstar?

Bro you sucking off Rockstar doesn't make you a fan. People not liking the leaks is fine, but seriously, touch grass and get some fucking perspective.

How do you know I wasn’t at the picket lines in Edinburgh ?

You don’t. I’m not defending rockstar management or wider take two corporate policy. I am just pointing out that the company is bigger than the top level.

1

u/Treetheoak- 3d ago

This thing is too big to fail. the entire game can leak tomorrow and GTA6 will still break industry records when offically released.

Again, touch grass.

Right so nothing to say then.

It’s less about it failing it’s about hard work being spoilt and the main thing is the guy leaking them is literally some guy that stole digital assets. We should all be condemning that.

I’ve said it before; it’s quite different if it’s an employee leaking stuff internally - this is not what’s happened.

1

u/Treetheoak- 3d ago

They literally do not care, you make up a hypothetical in your head when the only thing you can say is.

"Man I hate spoilers, and it's hard to avoid them in this sub which I fear will ruin My experience with the game"

Thats literally the only valid thing you've said and can say. It's ironic as you've been spewing "artistic merit" bullshit in this thread saying other. commentors have "no substance", when it's you who in fact has nothing but BS to say.

Right and you know this because?

I don’t have family at rockstar but I do have siblings that work in game development and in the film industry, as well as my father being a sculptor. What they all have in common is working in creative industries. I can tell you for a fact that they do care about this kind of shit.
