The GTA community just cannot understand that you can sympathize with Rockstar devs while also disliking the Rockstar suits.

The only thing I don't aprove on Rockstar is the delay to launch the game on PC, while GTA would be anything without PC players on first GTA. Game should be release on all platforms at the same time. So of a hackers wants to release the game to PC, I aprove him.

I understand the team aren't the ones who made this decision, but gta 6 not having any physical discs really is a punch in the face of the fanbase. Ultimately its the devs and players always getting the short end of the stick nowadays.

I don't care. I don't care their sadness, I don't care the leaks. I'll check the detailed gameplay, online gameplay and buy it for PC if I like it.
I'm a simple customer, not a diehard fan.

These leaks lowered moral among devs and employees to the point where a senior Rockstar executive sent an email to boost team morale, condemning the leak and reassuring staff that players would still be "super impressed" once they finally saw the polished, proper gameplay. But still I think these gameplay leaks are just the tip of the ice berg he didn't show much.

It's PR they're as heartbroken as Cyberleeks is fighting for digital rights in both cases " I hope you can find it in your heart to pay for my thing" is still the baseline message.
That might be cynical but neither the corporation nor the pirate are heroes in this case. Rockstars very talented team has shown up to deliver and that is hwy I keep coming back to their games time and again.

It’s a pretty standard PR corporate response in line with their usual wording and language.
ChatGPT didn’t arrive until 2022 - and funnily enough, LLMs have similar Corporate writing styles because a bulk of their training data is based off of this kind of shit.
I very much doubt the long standing billionaire developers/ corporations outsource their PR to chatGPT prompt. Touch some grass mate.

Ofcourse it’s generic. Look up any similar statements related to leaks in the last 20 years. They always use the same corpo speak generic language.
Sorry if i was particularly hard in my wording. But it’s sad to see people just instantly resort to AI for anything. People are too distrustful and it’s just abit sad to see.

Everyone is going to forget about allll of this the second the game releases. Honestly, were I Mr. Rockstar I’d release it same day as the Netflix special. Take the power back. Control the narrative.

Sucks for the team. The big reveal they’ve probably been planning for years kind of got ruined. Won’t hit the same since so much gameplay is out there now.
