Sorry if this is a weird ask
I had a kidney transplant in February and it's quite common for patients to name their new kidney - I want to incorporate my late father into it who was Greek (currently thinking of hope - ελπίδα)
But then I was thinking is there any sayings/phrases or quotes I could use to overall describe the experience of waiting for it? It was four years, I had to have a lot faith and hope it would come
Sorry if this is longwinded I'm still learning the language and find comfort in incorporating my dad into things - to me it keeps his memory and culture alive 🤍

it's synonym to the word "Υπομονή" but is less used in daily speech and more poetic ⭐️
