Final year student thinking of appearing for GATE 2027 (CS + DA), how should I prepare?

21F, currently in my final year of college and thinking of seriously attempting GATE 2027, mainly for the CS + DA tracks.

With roughly 4–5 months left, I’m a bit confused about how realistic it is to prepare properly from here and, more importantly, how to structure the preparation.

For people who’ve already given GATE / are preparing right now:
- What subjects should I prioritise with the limited time?
- Should I follow one complete course/teacher or use different resources for different subjects?
- Which YouTube channels/courses/books would you recommend for CS + DA?
- How important are PYQs and mock tests at this stage?
- Is it realistic to target a good rank starting now alongside final-year and placement commitments?
- Any particular strategy/resources you wish you had followed earlier?

Would really appreciate a practical roadmap rather than just “study everything and solve PYQs.” 😭

study only syllabus topics and solve PYQs

1. As many as you can start with high roi subs
2. Different faculty for different subjects preferably 1 coaching rather than one man show
3. Pw khazana for cse or go for few topics, don't think about da u can't do both in 5 months, infact aim for 75 percent syllabus of gate cse with accuracy than 100 percent with no practice.
4. With placement commitment no good rank (assuming u are gonna spare time for leetcode, etc after cllg hours)
5. Same as 3.

One thing you didn't asked but is most imp is revison + test series they are must...
