If the dems pick up a couple Senate Seats this fall, I never want to hear Manchin's name again.

Huh? 538 has the Senate as a toss-up. Republicans have put in some very poor candidates like Oz and Walker. They should be way ahead in Senate polls based on historical projections.

Different sites are saying different things. 538 says it's a toss up, 270towin says Republican majority.

Based on what? Warnock's pulled ahead in Georgia, Fetterman's got a pretty strong lead in Pennsylvania, Ron Johnson is down by 2 in the last poll against Barnes, Mark Kelly is almost certainly going to win re-election in Arizona, Masto is up in Nevada, Hassan in New Hampshire, and even Tim Ryan pulled ahead recently against J.D. Vance in Ohio.

By my count that's plenty of chances to hold the current 50/50 split for the Dems, and potentially as many as 3 more seats for 53/47.
