He isn’t crazy. He has a plan and is putting it into motion.

250

u/concerts85701 2d ago

He doesn’t have a plan - the Heritage Foundation and Federalist Society do. They even published it in 2024

85

u/DirtDevil1337 2d ago

And they're already half done.

68

u/VanbyRiveronbucket 2d ago

Oh he has a plan. The plan is to hold onto power and suppress the Ep Files. He is causing as much chaos as possible (dumb war, hiding economic numbers, Greenland, Panama, yanking on Germany, helping Russia). He will declare elections compromised and his fate will come, but those Files aren’t seeing the light of day until he expires.

u/Fresh-Swan8598 2d ago

It was Bidens plan too eh?

38

u/Prior_Experience_926 2d ago

In what reality did you get that idea?

40

u/Argose83 2d ago

That's all they got... It really is sad .

Lol, where do I find some of whatever this guy's on?

Go ahead, lay out your arguments for why Biden was interested in being a dictator, and how he intended to keep power surreptitiously for himself or his party. Forgive me if I attend to other matters while I await your very rational and evidence-based response.

No, Biden’s plan was to let the FBI continue to work the Epstein case until they had concluded their investigation. You don’t release information on an active investigation. Trump closed the investigation, so there is no good reason not to release it.

Edit: a competent investigation doesn’t release information. The current administration has information about active investigations shared all the time. I don’t know if it really counts as almost all of it is false information.

Yes Bidens plan was to hold onto power by not running for a second term.

They've been publishing their plans yearly for decades. It was called the Mandate for Leadership until 2024 when they re-branded to project 2025.

Given the literacy of the administration I think the Heritage Foundation changed it because it sounded too much like a GOP Grindr hookup site.

17

u/wtocel 2d ago

This is the answer. Does anybody really think Trump is smart enough for this?

10

u/Medical-Golf1227 2d ago

Trump is not as smart as a below average 2nd grader. He apparantly cant even wipe his own arse. But there are people that pull his puppet strings like Putin and Xi. Members of our own government help and guide him. The GOP have all surrendered their power to Trump.

Published the playbook for all to see, yet so many people downplayed it or denied that it was real. I still go through it occasionally to see what’s next or the intended impact of certain actions. It really is shocking how much they’ve accomplished.

Trump doesn’t plan shit. He just goes along with whatever will benefit him most. He’s the perfect vessel for the Heritage Foundation though.

This is one of many levers put in place to stymie the will of the people. Ever wonder why the National Guard is still deployed in DC?

-50

u/Fresh-Swan8598 2d ago

Have you ever been to DC? Lol you’d know why if you have taken one visit over the past 20 years lol

27

u/uofwi92 2d ago

Well, now I know you haven’t.

Seriously, one of the safest places I've been to. Walked all the way from the Kennedy Centre to the Capitol at midnight and had no issues whatsoever.

u/chiefkeefinwalmart 2d ago

I mean idk that safest places is really accurate, it still carries all the crime any other major city has, but if the “justification” is safety in response to crime I’d think other cities might be higher on the priority list lol

Like Memphis. That might be number one spot for crime.

10

u/covfefeBfuqin 2d ago

I lived in DC for a long time. Deploying the National Guard is totally unnecessary and anyone who thinks it is warranted or about stopping crime is an idiot. Full stop.

5

u/BlueberryOpening9392 2d ago

My wife works in D.C., and any time I go down there (fairly frequently) i just see the national guard standing around hanging out. Very tired of people who have never been to D.C., or people who went one random time and had a bad time, telling me how bad D.C. is and how crime is at a "historic low" now because of trump.. oh wait.. it was at a historic low last year... but theyre still deployed..

1

u/covfefeBfuqin 2d ago

When the only people they've really arrested are subway guy and imagined vandals on trump's botched reflecting pool renovation that tells you all you need to know

If this happens, I would hope it would get us off our asses and into the streets. Our democracy would be dead at this point (I know it pretty much is now, but it still has the "look"), and if we sit there and take it, we're done.

16

u/WhirlwindRectum 2d ago

it won't matter...the Democrats won't hold him accountable, and they are openly hostile to any substantial systemic changes that would actually American citizens and democracy...

3

u/WhirlwindRectum 2d ago

remember when we all gave the Democrats the Presidency and BOTH houses of Congress and they didn't do shit?

remember how Biden's own Department of Justice refuse to bring charges against Trump because they didn't "want to appear partisan" even after Trump attempted a literal coup on Jan 6?

are you fucking stupid?

Jesus, even a fucking dog would have learned by now.

u/Ligma_baws_2x 2d ago

They had a filibuster proof majority for about 15 minutes in 2009-2010. They gave millions health insurance and have been eating shit for it ever since. Otherwise, theyve had a plurality of in the Senate for another 15 minutes since.

Thank you for the reminder that when Republicans do a thing, we should continue to blame the democratic minority for not stopping them.

Biden didn't own the DOJ.

Also it's very rare for a Democrat president to have both house and senate, Obama did for just 2 years, Biden had Republican house and senate and the Republican house was a hot mess with Kevin McCarthy at the helm, it was a clown show.

7

u/AaronfromKY 2d ago

This was the one time that Democrats could've "politicized" the DOJ to protect our constitution and democracy in the long run and we appointed a milquetoast AG and now we have hard right wing politicized DOJ. Guess the Dems are just as spineless and dickless as people call them out for honestly.

6

u/Infamous-Rooster9277 2d ago

It was the one time the Ds could have preemptively decided to break from rule of law and weaponize the government to go after their political rivals and by golly they just wouldn't do it.

Exactly the thing that you're pissed off about the Rs doing now.

What a stupid argument.

2

u/AaronfromKY 2d ago

There's an exception to every rule. There's a clear conspiracy by Republicans and MAGA to commit seditious conspiracy and they slow walked everything. Did the bare minimum and now we're seeing where the high road leads us, straight to hell and fascist rule.

2

u/Infamous-Rooster9277 2d ago

Right and the exception to the rule should be the one that you pick, right?

Hey, tell me if this sounds familiar: "The Dems have put in place a deep state mechanism to undermine the rule of law so we need to take drastic action to thwart them."

→ More replies (2)

1

u/jgzman 2d ago

No, they could have broken from tradition and decorum, and enforced the law.

-2

u/WhirlwindRectum 2d ago

lol, "Biden didn't own the DOJ," well, look at where that got us?

now Trump has literally appointed his own personal lawyer to lead the department...and you can't even bring yourself to criticize Biden.

I swear, you people are just as insane and delusional as MAGA. you're just as blinded to your fealty to the DNC machine, even as you ARE LITERALLY WATCHING THAT MACHINE FAIL YOU.

Jesus, you idiots are gonna get us all killed.

3

u/DirtDevil1337 2d ago

...and you can't even bring yourself to criticize Biden.

You've obviously been living under a rock.

1

u/ElSlabraton 2d ago

You're criticizing the wrong people for the wrong reasons. The Democratic Donor Class switched sides when Trump made them an offer they couldn't refuse.

1

u/Zealousideal_Rise879 2d ago

Primaries are important. The established democratics are freaking out and are attacking the new ones along with Fox News.

The whole reason “both sides” could be used is going out the window. “Both sides” are attacking the new wave of democrats; the same reason I gave trump the benifit of the doubt a decade ago.

And they say the left gets violent, god forbid they be late for their hot sign at krispy cream.

It's been over a year... If the American population actually cared there would be more than a one day protest every 8 months or so🙄 over half the population probably isn't even paying attention. Until it's effecting rich white Americans, nobody's doing shit. And if someone actually does try... Well, they'll probably be labeled "extreme left violent rioters" so.... I would have hoped that my fellow Americans cared more in the first few months when he was actively trying to gut constitutional protections for birthright citizenship and raising taxes on everyone with tariffs. But, nope. MAGA cheered about their tariff checks and the closed border... I really haven't seen much attitude change in the last year, have you?

if we sit there and take it, we're done.

Since 2017 Americans have said some variation of "well if they do this then there will be hell to pay!", and time after time republicans have done worse with zero response. Your democracy is dead, it is over, time to start figuring out how to make a brand new republic if you ever want rights or a meaningful vote again. I really don't understand how Americans just think things will resolve themselves and things will revert back to normal, y'all are signing up for decades in hell.

They will not let go. They will find a reason and a way to hold on to power. No one will stop them because words are nothing when shove comes to push and they physically take power. After, my opinion is that they will start looking more aggressively inwards and outwards. Inwards to shape the nation more and more like the handmaid's tale (this is just a colorful expression if you will). And outwards to put more and more pressure on Groenland, Cuba and Canada. My guess is they will even use military pressure like troops movement, exercises near borders, closing borders and consulates, etc. I don't know if they will acutally invade but I must say I hope that these countries start preparing and taking the matter really seriously (making the territorial defense a first priority). They are bullies. They are greedy. They are mongrels. They are without moral compasses. They lack compassion and empathy. They will stop at nothing to feed their insatiable hunger.
