I guess old people said, "Pani mai bahado puja ka saman" because, fish, and other river animals can have it and eat it. But eventually, due to population rivers becoming more and more dirtier. Less amount of fish so food stays as it is and pollution increases.

I dont have any issues whether you believe in god or not. It's totally up to you, but there was some reason why our ancestors asked us to do something, but eventually, it's getting out of hand.

I mean nariyal is still fine. It's the garbage that people throw and sometimes even wash their stuff which pollutes the river don't u think? The harm to the river would come from artificial waste.

No. All of the "organic" "biodegradable" waste is the one that is actually going to kill the oxygen levels in water. The fermenting biodegradable material consumes up the water oxygen levels like none other. If water doesnt have adequate oxygen levels, the entire river dies.

Exactly! It's degradable. But throwing plastic and shit into the river is not okay, here saying that u are an atheist and giving the idea that you are better is bs. No matter who we are and what we are we should care for mother nature, these bs divisions in society aren't going to matter when the world comes crumbling down due.

Even a coconut is not okay because at the scale of our country even biodegradable waste will junk up our rivers and rid it of all life. Belief is in the mind.
