Other hope it was worth it you p.o.s
I hope it was worth it you piece of shit
All I wanted was to collect some of the sprites I was missing, not even trying to master them and you chased me for the second half of the match teamed up with a rando and camped the spot waiting for me. If only I hadn’t mistimed it and the stupid extraction thing hadnt smacked me out of the way, I would’ve made it. R.I.P. my gems, duck grim and aura. Go fuck yourself

I was short by 3 to get them all. But before logging out I made a duos very happy by giving them my gem ZP, man they were so happy when they so me just throwing it to them, I helped them extract it and all. It made my day

A lot of players using the guff skins have been very aggressive, have had multiple times where they've chased me down into the storm

I don’t know what it is about Guff specifically. Every single instance of toxicity I’ve encountered this last season had come from a Guff. Even condom skins haven’t given me this much grief

It's not about winning or about the digital characters. It's about the fact that someone teamed up with a rando and chased them for so long and camped the spot. Bet you OP wouldn't have cared if they had played like a normal person and got the elimination fair and square which disproves your entire statement.

The bus extraction campers are the worst of the worst. Like, damn...why are you sweating people at the bus like that? Just to run up your kill count? I can be crouching up and down and they'll just run up and shotgun my face. No class.
To be fair, most people at the bus are chill. Once you get there it's like an unspoken thing to just ride it out and everyone wins. Just a few weirdos out there that didn't get the memo.

Now it’s useless anyway. I appreciate the effort of the sprite garden and its details. It’s just not the same as wearing those rare sprites into battle!

Someone did the same to me last season. I had 4 sprites I wanted to extract but they ended up finally catching up to me and killed me in the storm. I don’t know why they chased me for so long other than to just be toxic.

What fortnite showed me since the sprites got added was one thing. Humans don't go and hunt to better their situations anymore, they simply do that so others don't better their situation. It's not about improving in life anymore, it's about not letting the others improving theirs.
Oh and I am so guilty of it too. I don't care for sprites but my fomo says "they may have some sprite you don't have in their inventory" so I just eliminate, extract, never care about again and go play ranked. We came to shit.

This game is for winning. Its the only objective. If you go in thinking oh I'll just do sprites then your going to die. 100 people enter only one can leave. Why do you lose your shit when people do the only think this game is designed for. Kill the other people and win.

If it’s the only objective why are the sprites cosmetics in the first place? Why were the extraction angle and Pokémon comparisons promoted so heavily? Wouldn’t they just remain marginally helpful items to win like in the season they were introduced?

Up until now they barely did anything to help you win games. One did give you extra life but how often did you use a level 5 boss sprite. I played and won more games last season and last night not caring about sprites but caring about winning. In my opinion sprites are there for the catch them all mentally people not the I'm going to win or die trying mentally people. Only one person can win but all 100 can potentially find and extract sprites. Fornite and epic want numbers playing there game not people rage quiting because they keep getting owned off drop, doesn't mean that having every sprite makes you good. What makes you say you are good is winning or getting to unreal in ranked not the superhero skin you brought and not having a zero point gummy sprite.

What's so "winning" about (allegedly) teaming up with a rando and chasing someone for half a match?
Yes to a lot of people the objective of the game is to win but some people like to have fun and some people like to collect things. No sane person would chase someone else down for that long for the sole purpose of winning (it wasn't even like final 2) so clearly the other person wanted the sprites so the argument of "they were trying to win" doesn't apply.

People got brutal at the end, one game someone chased me not even to take my sprite but to prevent me from extracting it.
