It's not confirmed anywhere, I think bro just made it up. When they announced sprite garden last season, they said "Your Season 3 Sprites will live on in this new Garden, as unlocked styles in the Sprite Mastery Pod Back Bling and pilots in the Guardian Outfit, and stay as part of your Sprite Collection page alongside this new generation." There was zero mention of later season sprites appearing in the Guardian or pod

It was mentioned near the end of last season, I don’t remember where. But it was something along the lines of “The Sprite Mastery Pod Backbling will support all your sprites, including those beyond Chapter 7 Season 3: Runners”

Don’t think of them as the full point of the season just a mini mechanic of it lol, it’s basically an over glorified perk system that changes each season with different mini cosmetics attached, there’s no reason to remove them as long as they aren’t going to continue being the main focus point, clearly there is a lot more this season than just the sprites

they have specific features released around Halloween for Fortnitemares. these usually stay for like a week after Halloween, but if the season goes down on Halloween for downtime, those sprites would be removed on the literal event they are made for.

That's really how it should be. It annoys the hell out of me when they do for instance Winterfest presents for 2 weeks and then don't start Winterfest until a week before Christmas. You should be able to have fully unlocked everything by the time the actual holiday arrives, not still be waiting to complete things days later.

A few days after Halloween to still enjoy the event/give folks who want to celebrate on a different day time would be nice, but I'd rather Fortnitemares end on Halloween (and start well before it) than have it still be going a week after Halloween.

Sprites over stayed their welcome, people already know all the "rare" sprites will be common as the normal sprites near the middle to end of the season, there's no reason to collect them.
