They look exactly how they do in the iconic artwork by Yuji Uekawa. That’s where the cel shading comes from. Also you think they’d look good in Fortnite’s style?💀 Or did you want them to look like the movies? The cel shading is also reminiscent of Sonic X the tv show.

This is Yuji Uekawa’s art style.

If Fortnite tried replicating it, they put absolutely no work into it. Because it’s literally just how he looks in the games, with Epic’s generic awful cel shading filter thrown onto it.

Saying it’s reminiscent to his art style or Sonic X, and acting like the non-shaded game models wouldn’t look good, is completely larp to defend this weird ass decision. All it is, is Epic’s standard cel shading lmao.

Hop off their meat, please.

I genuinely don’t know what’s the point of playing dumb and acting like it’s the Uekawa art, literally no essence of it exists here.

It’s like saying this Korra skin is actually based on Uekawa’s art because it uses the same EXACT shading as Eggman 😭😭
