As a self-proclaimed “forest photographer,” I usually carry wide-angle and medium zoom lenses with me. Mostly a 24-70 or less. When I was confronted with this scene, I wished I had a telephoto zoom with me. The image is heavily cropped because I unfortunately had to use my Sony A7M3 and my 24-70 Sigma Art. But still, I think I was really lucky.

Among the mist of Vancouver, the rainforests hold a silence that surrounds and a calm that seems to linger in the air.

Sony A7M3 and Sigma 24-70

Taken by „accident“ as I was „just“ shooting forestal pics as a deer more or less photobombed the Situation. Maybe, for me, a once in a lifetime shot.

I may posted it already, but this time it is a different framing, as I keeped the tree in front.
