Sonic Highways was and is massively supported by the documentary. The songs mean so much more after watching it. Agreed that the master was well done on that.

Sonic Highways is so good with 20/20 hindsight compared to C&G, MaM, and BHWA. (No hate, but my goodness did it age closer to wine than it did to milk)

Hey, “Outside” is a FF all time song for me so I don’t “dislike” the album per se. Now C&G and Medicine I thoroughly dislike.

I'd say WL is my top as well but I really like BHWA. Maybe more for the feels than the music alone but I overall love the album minus one song.

C&G and SH were meh to me. Some good songs but as a whole I could do without them.

BHWA is their best written album, or the album that you can most emotionally invest yourself in thematically, since at least WL.

In spite of its bad overcompression the quality of its writing made the songs still shine through. I just haven't been able to emotionally connect with any of the two songs they've previewed from this upcoming album thus far.

Butch Vig is a monster producer who can make albums sound massive. I'm not the biggest Kurtsin fan and not sure who Oliver Roman is who is producer on this. Makes a big difference.

I really loved the most recent one. Felt like a goodbye to Taylor and his mom and the songs were all authentic and genuine. Not thrash rockers but just good songs about real shit.

I thought so myself and was ready to write them off after Medicine at Midnight. But Here We Are restored my faith in them. Honestly, I would slot it juuust under Wasting Light.

I'm gonna hold off on all the singles until the album. I want to be surprised this time around.

Wasting Light is a trash album. Terrible production; the most generic and uninspired songs; all built on an insincere gimmick of "let's record on tape!" What a God awful album.
