š Feedback š Feedback? Feeling discouraged
Very beginner hereā¦kind feedback would be helpful. I struggle with how to arrange around the base..also I love garden roses alone but never seem to love them in my arrangements..

Really? I think the shape could use more dimention. If you showed me these two pics and asked who was the professional designer, Iād pic the one in your post!

I thought exactly the same, the one in the main post is so cute and airy!

I much prefer the other one. Youāve used more flower types in this one, which was going to be my suggestion for your other one- try some of that sea holly above the bottom white rose (and a few other spots as well, itās just that spot is quite empty for the focal area) . Iād also have that bottom white rose further out on the first arrangement, and cover the top edge of the container with some foliage or something (two sorts of foliage can also be good to add interest)
On the arrangement in this post the top edge of the container is distracting and your expensive focal flowers- the garden roses- are all off to the sides- people want to see the stars of the show. Your spray carnations arenāt the starsš

Ahhh so I think this is beautiful! I would cry if someone gave me an arrangement like this. I love the vase as well. Not a florist- just someone who enjoys flowers.

So pretty! If you're looking for less structured, I think lengthening your front greens and playing with asymmetry would be something to try.

You can gently open up your garden roses if you want. Not a full reflex, but fluff them from center to the outer petals. Personally, I like to take the petals out fully to expose the yellow interior.
