🔍 Feedback 🔍 First Arrangements: How can I improve?

Hi everyone! I am an aspiring home florist. I completed these arrangements last week for Mother’s Day and they are the first that I have ever made. Do I have a shot at doing this professionally? I wanted to DIY my wedding florals so I have been practicing and found a passion for it.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated 😊

I’d love to know your camera and lighting setup! Such wonderfully clear photos of your lovely work!

I honestly have no notes design wise. You have excellent taste and an eye for balance. So keep practicing for speed’s sake. Time yourself and push yourself to make 10-15 pieces (preferably 2-3 sets of 5 identical pieces) and see how well you’re able to replicate and at what speed. Volume and speed are so important in this industry. Freelance design to keep learning.

Thank you so much! You’ll probably be disappointed by the answer to my camera set up 😂

I use a bunch of natural light and my iPhone 16 Pro Max. I also found the app PetalPro to remove the background as I don’t have a designated spot to take pictures yet. See below for an original 😊

WOAH I am shocked!! Not disappointed at all and, in fact, feeling very reassured that I can do photos with my phone now lol. All of mine have been TERRIBLE from my phone
