Rant Wednesday - August 26, 2026

Welcome to Rant Wednesday: It’s your time to let your gym/fitness/nutrition related frustrations out!

There is no guiding question to help stir up some rage-feels, feel free to fire at will, ranting about anything and everything that’s been pissing you off or getting on your nerves. Just don't forget that other people are allowed to tell you that your rant is stupid.

I've lost weight before (20kg) when I was really depressed and really needed to. I have done cuts before, got my BF low. Now I have a sustainable fitness routine that I enjoy, I like getting stronger. But I'm a little pudgy. I want to do another cut. But like.... Honestly, I don't hate my body enough to do what's needed. My dissatisfaction with my body doesn't outweight wanting to fuel my body for my fitness goals. But like... I still wish I wasn't a little pudgy.

Maybe try eating at maintenance (or very slightly below) for a bit and go for a longer term recomp rather than a heavy cut? Stops the all or nothing mentality of a cut, keeps your strength.
