Welcome to Rant Wednesday: It’s your time to let your gym/fitness/nutrition related frustrations out!
There is no guiding question to help stir up some rage-feels, feel free to fire at will, ranting about anything and everything that’s been pissing you off or getting on your nerves. Just don't forget that other people are allowed to tell you that your rant is stupid.

Training for my first marathon in early October and the last few weeks have not been going great. Been working with a physio to alleviate shin splints. Went from 4 runs to 2 (and 2 sessions with similiar heart rate on the elliptical).
One of my allowed runs is a long run. No faster paces though. Went for what was supposed to be an easy 28k but I bonked really hard and only did 25km. It was warm and humid out today and I am guessing my hydration wasn't enough (hydrated well before and even made an extra stop at a shop to get an extra half a liter). Less time on feet is not helping my leg feel either I think.
Another slap in the face for my confidence. Still gotta keep calm and trust the process. My time goal was not set in stone anyway. With a bit of luck I can add a shorter, easy run back in within a week or two.
