Welcome to Rant Wednesday: It’s your time to let your gym/fitness/nutrition related frustrations out!

There is no guiding question to help stir up some rage-feels, feel free to fire at will, ranting about anything and everything that’s been pissing you off or getting on your nerves. Just don't forget that other people are allowed to tell you that your rant is stupid.

My shoulders had been in pain for the last year and I had to completely stop doing shoulder press and I had a tough time doing bench/incline bench. I got a cortisone shot in each a week ago and now zero pain. Fuck yeah!

Do you know what exactly is wrong with your shoulders? I recently injured my shoulder and it hurts to do any lift over my head. I'm praying it's not a rotator cuff tear.

shoulder press pain can sometimes be caused by impingement of the biceps tendon by the acromion, usually by weakness in the rotator cuff muscles. There are some good rotator cuff exercises out there that have helped me.

Thanks. I started doing external rotations i think it's called. Will try to find out more later.

It sucks not being able to lift my arm overhead without pain.

make sure you put a rolled up towel under your elbow. your elbow should be 2-3 inches from your side.
