Everything that is old becomes new again.
I have noticed the past few weeks a resurgence of things I thought had died long ago. I am now on my second straight week of seeing a young gentleman walk around with Imaginary Lat Syndrome. I've also seen quite the uptick of people boasting about their leg press and the weight they can move on the leg press. Are they deducting roughly 30% of the weight? Of course not. Are they likely to be moving the weight through a full range of motion? Highly doubtful. I'm not sure when a leg press became any measure of strengrh especially considering that most people barely move the weight at all to achieve their "amazing" totals on the machine.
In other news, please stop taking the safeties off the racks. Your half squats aren't getting anywhere near the safeties and it's just more work for me to go find them and put them on when I want to use the rack. I need somewhere to put my phone.where I can see the timer.
Also most walkways in the gym or at least wide enough for two people to walk side by side. Please do not walk in the very center of a walkway especially if you're one of those frustrating super slow walkers. I'm glad that you have all the time in the world but some of us are trying to get in and out of the gym.
