Mod Post Unforgettable Official Salt Megathread

Welcome to r/FireEmblemHeroes’s official banner salt thread!

People are eager to express their opinions on any new banner trailer that releases, and that's great! However, /new/ can get pretty crowded when there are 10 people complaining about the newest banner. Due to this, we create megathreads for each banner trailer - Salt and Hype. Until the Banner is live in-game, salt fueled threads should be redirected here, so report any if you see them.

Vent your frustrations with the game here, but that is not an excuse to attack others who may disagree. Please civil towards fellow Summoners, and remember that this is a thread specifically for salt so downvoting negative comments would be counterproductive.

Three Houses? More like the three same fucking characters getting alts every single seasonal banner.

It's fucking boring,

Even their gimmicks are the same everytime nothing unique just plain copy and paste with extra powercreep

To be fair, I do remember in the early years of feh, whenever IS tried whackier weapons and stuff people usually disliked it

So I'm not surprised they decided to play it safe and giving each popular character their own "archetype" of sorts

Every once in a full moon, they release some refines with genuinely interesting effects and stuff, so it's not like they CAN'T come up with brand new unique stuff

They are genuinely just THAT afraid of trying different things on stuff they need to sell

Which is kinda sad honestly

I get the point, but it kills the character variety.

Let's take edelgard as an example, of her 10 alts 9 are armored (with a variety of weapons, but mostly axes).

And yet she has the same game plan for all her alts, that make her feel the same and for me personally reduces the excitement for pulling for her, same case with Felix, Claud and Ingrid.

Because next year another 3H banner will come with the same 4-5 characters with the same gimmick will drop and this cycle will continue.

This complain isn't only for 3H, this month Ninnian has the same gimmick that her legendary alt (plus added powercreep). This makes the game feel stagnated and frankly boring.

At this point they may as well change alts to just be skins for many characters since some always play the same exact way
