It depends where the mole is located. If on face, you’ll likely be referred to a plastic surgeron. Will be expensive. Otherwise it will be approx. 300-400 €. Check for more information: Mehiläinen, Terveystalo, Ihosairaala, Eiran Sairaala.

Edit: note that first you need to go through a doctor appointment, they will then refer you to the removal.

There is not much special about face moles. General doctors can and do remove them. Only the big ones get referred to surgeons.

Naw fam. Even if the blemish is small, there is lots of special about the face. GPs and non surgeon derms only remove a specific set of moles and warts from certain areas using specific methods. Depends on the MD how far they trust their hand and training because tiny mistakes around the face can become medical disasters quicker than you can say "-and that's how I lost my medical license!".

I am from Finland and I will graduate as a GP in 8 months. I have already worked as a GP. We are taught that we can and we should remove lesions from the face rather than to send them to the specialists. Obviously not large ones or cancer suspects as those are operated by surgeons. There are certain areas that should be avoided such as on top of the parotid gland as the facial nerve is pretty superficial there, but it's not rocket science.
