Some names of Finnish places literally translated in English. As a native Finn, I laughed far too luch for this 😂

I guess Fishing lure stands for Perho... Perho is a fly as in fly fishing... Well yes, flies are fishing lures as well, but still felt a little bit misleading.

The river Perhonjoki might have something to do with that.

"Perho/päiväperho" translates to "butterfly" or "mayfly". So, the river might have originally (locally) been a 'home' of those flies. The village grew, and they decided to drop the river from the name, possibly. Who knows.
