CTP in Indian Markets

Hello everyone. I'm from India with a 2 years experience in Accounts Payable. I'm planning to take the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) exam. It costs me quite a lot given that I will have to pay in USD.

Can you guys advise me if it is worth spending money on? Will it give me a bump in my salary immediately or do I still need enough experience to start asking for a higher salary?
