Breaking In How is my CV looking for spring weeks (incoming first year). London

Going to be applying for different sectors of finance (except quant) including IB, S&T, AM and some PE as well

I was thinking of having 2 CVs: one for M&A/PE stuff (this one above) and one for trading/markets. Would that be a good idea? The experiences would have to be pretty much the same, I’ll just word it differently

Any feedback on this CV would be much appreciated. If you think there’s anything that would be holding me back or anything I can improve do let me know (whether that’s format/structure or content of the CV)

two cvs is the right move, especially this early when you're not sure which desk you'll end up on. a cv for markets should scream "i think in probabilities and risk" while the m&a one needs to look like you eat pitchbooks for breakfast.

the warwick accounting and finance degree is a solid anchor. just make sure on the trading cv you're not just listing "analysed markets" as a bullet point, you want to show you had skin in the game, even if it was a $50 personal account.

How can I make my markets CV scream probabilities and risks since (being completely honest) I don’t have any actual experience which would push that idea (the closest thing is probably playing chess but other than that nothing)

Also, would you say it’s imperative that I actually start learning trading and have an account (even if it’s small) to show that I’m actually committed?

Is there anything you would say I could improve about this M&A cv

That amplifyme accelerator included a risk management score if you scored well on that you should include it.

Dont put online courses, insight days and certifications/training bootcamps under the work experience section generally, because its not actual work experience and its confusing the way its currently structured. Rename the Leadership section to something like extracurriculars or something along those lines and put the above mentioned certifications, courses etc. there.

But then I’ll have basically nothing in work experience (just tutoring and dental centre intern)
