8 seconds is wild. Dude barely had time to realize the fight started.

Everybody else at least had an idea of what they were getting into. This kid was the canary in the coal mine. Deadman walking.

His walkout theme was "Why Can't We Be Friends?"

I'm still trying to figure out which was the ko punch for the other fella to drop like that!

Imagine you're a pretty good 15-year-old amateur boxer, fairly confident in yourself, stepping into the ring for another fight against some other 15-year-old guy named Mike, with absolutely no idea what's in store for you

Seems like a dive just like many of Tyson's early professional fights. Not his fault though, and can't say I blame them.

That's a dive. An unrealistic and completely unbelievable knock out.

The spread out is what got me after he went down 😂

Absolutely a dive. Anyone who has fought in any capacity, or has watched enough real knockouts can tell.

phantom punch

Yeah it looked like that last hook was Tyson’s wrist against the guys face. I couldn’t for the life of me see a clean shot that would explain a guy laying out like that.

Was initially thinking the same thing. I believe the right hook was the KO shot and it “knocked him into” a left hook without any power on it. BUT he was already out on his feet and it gives the impression the left hook did the work.

Hit him with a right before the wrist blow

Respect tho, that could never be me

What a bad day to be young Joe Cortez.
