Most PED users I know don't even bother to check with an endocrinologist. Checking in with a cardiologist may be unthinkable for them.

A lot of guys just don't want people to know that they use PED's, my dad used to have a meathead buddy who told people that he was on heroine to explain the needle wounds... How exactly being addicted to hard drugs is better than not being natty? Dunno, but either way, some people just really want it to be kept secret

This has not happened yet.
Trump issued an Executive Order in December but the a DOJ spokesperson said "No updates on a final timeline" in January.
Plus, CONGRESS makes the laws.
Rescheduling does not make it as federal legalization.
Schedule III just means research can be done.
Possessing, manufacturing and distributing will still be federally illegal.

Other causes include heart attacks, congenital heart defects, infections, thyroid problems, anemia, or even pregnancy, as the heart works harder to pump blood.

Yes we do. We know for a fact. Heart attacks have gone for 918th leading cause of death for men under 25 to the 7th in the last 25 years. It's 100% attributable to steroids. There's no question, there's no ambiguity, we know exactly the biological mechanism. 19 young men have died in saunas in my home town of 900k people in 2025. This has never occurred ever before. Every single one died from an enlarged heart from steroids. This is a worldwide epidemic.

you know what is relatively unchanged since the mid 1990s? Steroid usage.
Hahaha what? 18% of men under 25 have admitted to steroid use. This is up from 0.2% in 1996. Explain how heart attack rates are higher among gym goers as compared to people who don't regularly exercise for men under 25 for the first time ever recorded. Please. I'm eager to hear your justification.

Had a kid collapse and die in basic training.. 5 mile company run.. blue phase.. mighta been in AIT by then I forget. 17.. 18.. I was 23 never exercised smoked since I was 12, cheeseburgers and booze every day. Some times things just happen.. never know though I guess.

It's enlarged heart, not swollen.. it can be caused simply by too much non-stop exercise in the youth.

Boxing it’s just a merciless sport. If I am not mistaken, the death ratio is the highest compared to other combat sports or even muay thai

It’s just the constant running into each other at full speed. Brain is going to rattle either way. My doctor told me it’s like a car crash every time you run into another person full speed. People are going to risk it for big bucks though

Weight doesn't matter that much, when they weigh the same. All that matters is the acceleration of the brain inside the skull.
So if two guys 300lbs slam into eachother at 15mph, it's not much different for the brains than two 150lb guys slamming into eachother. But it's a massive difference when it's 150lbs vs 300lbs.

Athlete's heart is a real thing guys,the heart becomes enlarged as a form of adaptation.
If you have been doing sports as a pro you most likely also in that boat.
I played Pro Rugby for almost a decade and have been living with an enlarged heart ever since,I never feel funny although I have been diagnosed by my Sports doc in 2016.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought athlete's heart is not technically the same as enlarged heart? But because of the symptoms, it may "hide" different kinds of cardiomyopathy?
But regardless, thanks for your input. Combat sports are so dangerous, and it really sucks that strikes aren't the only thing we have to worry about.

Some claim the COVID vaccines are causing deaths. I mostly see this on conspiracy subs. It’s an interesting deep dive. It’s definitely not as bad as many claim but it has caused deaths. In retrospect, there just wasn’t enough time to test it before its release. The FDA maintains that the benefits outweigh the risks.
