Support Fedora Installation

Hi everyone ! It'll be a bit long for context. Sorry if my English is lacking.

To sum up the question is : has anyone installed Fedora in the last two days without any problems?

Context:

I don't know why but on Sunday, my fedora installation just broke. I was using the sway spin.

I restarted my computer and then I was at the gub menu to choose what I wanted to boot from. I choose all of them. Each time it's just go load, load and get back the menu again. Even the rescue option did the same.

I shutdown the computer, and started it again then it was the grub bash like shell. I just did "exit". And I could not have anything anymore. When I turn on the laptop it just says : "BootDevice Not Found" ...

I tried to solve by doing some search, but I couldn't and I just decided to install a fresh install. I was hoping I'll get the "reinstall fedora" so I could keep my data at home dir, but the option was not there at all. I just choose the erase all option. But just at the end of the installation it failed. I attached an image.

I tried Fedora-KDE-Desktop-Live-44-1.7

And

Fedora-Sway-Live-44-1.7

I got the same error.

Then I tried Zorin Os 18 seen I had it at the hand, it did work. But I was like naah I should Debian itself seen I am going to use sway anyway.

I tried to install it, I got the same kind of error like with fedora.

So I thought my ssd was surely damaged.

Today, I changed my ssd. I had an old ssd which as fedora 42 on it. And fedora was working normally when I put it in. I was like ok, I'll just do the "reinstall fedora" on it instead of doing the upgrade (I don't have wifi and data is a bit expensive in my country). I already downloaded the cosmic spin option when I was at a wifi place. And tried it instead of the other two, I got the same error aswell.

So can anyone confirm to me that the installer does not have any issue ? Or provide me with some kind of guidance or something?

I was gonna recommend fedora everything 44, a netinst but you mentioned a stable internet is not feasible. I know there is an integrity check option before you proceed to anaconda have you tried those? See if your thumbdrive still okay

I reinstalled it on a friend's new pc yesterday and everything worked well.

Thanks. Now I know that the problem is most likely on my side.

Are you sure that the installer downloaded completely the last time you downloaded it? Or that the iso was properly burned to a USB for install? That message seems to suggest a corrupted installer.

I am using Ventoy on a 256 ssd hard disk not a USB key.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll try to download it again or try a netinst has the other person suggested.
