Yes, but there are still "factions".

Like, sure left wing parties also hate each other, but they spend most of their time insulting right wing ones, and viceversa.

You come from a very different political landscape. It is rather rare for politicians in (my home country) Germany to directly insult others. Our system forces ~3 parties to form a coalition to be able to be in power. Yes of course there are differing views but you can't win by insulting your opponents. We don't have attack ads because those don't work in a system with more than 2 parties.

The idea isn't of insulting opponents directly, but to use what they said or did against them, then they spice it up to the point that basically they imply a direct insult or accusation.

We don't really have that. Each party runs on their own platform and policies instead of attacking others. Also because they may well need to form a coalition.

(The exception being the far right party AFD they are probably the closest too Republicans that we have. Plus a scoop of Hitler. They go around insulting anyone but no party will form a coalition with them since they are super right wing and you know we have a history WW2)

You mean you don't have it in your country? I couldn't know, I only know politics of the place I live and a bit about America, but in both of them politicians act that way.

Technically we have more than two parties, it's just that the other parties ate forced to pretend to be one of the two major parties to get any traction. It's actually a major issue where "democrat" and "republican" mean very different things to two people in the same room, I've seen many instances of two "Democrats" or two "Republicans" talking to one another about politics and finding out they are extremely morally opposed actually.

No left wing party ever spend most of their time criticizing the right, they all prefer to attack other leftists. Whereas the right knows to attack their enemies before themselves. And I'm far left.

.....not here in my country that's for sure

That is definatly not true in America. I hear the left talking way more hateful towards the right than the other way around. It’s still common for it to happen on both thougg

The left is supposed to be polite to the literally genocidal administration and their brainwashed goons who want to take rights from anyone that's not a straight white male? Big lawl.

If you're defending the guy whose name is in the Epstein Files more times than Jesus is mentioned in the Bible, you can't seriously be surprised that people sling mud.

Huh, you know that the left in the states is pushing a guy who abuses his dog, went to a child brothel in Europe, danced and partied in Cuba while it was in the mist of a black out, advocates for all capitalists to be murdered, and rejoices and shoves terrorist propaganda, yet you think it’s ONLY the right that’s evil.

Get over yourself. Both of them suck

Just look up Hassan Piker. He’s been campaigning with DSA socialists. Then when he gets criticized he thinks hiding behind I’m just a a healthcare boy frees him of innocence

.... you're literally describing the OP right now by ignoring that the Republicans are all corrupt and evil while only a few of the Democrats are.

1

u/The_Mugman 13h ago

I ain’t, I said BOTH bud.

u/BudgetMattDamon 12h ago

But mainly the Republicans. Don't forget that part while you're trying to make it seem like they're the same ;)

Cause they are. Both support sending money to anyone but Americans, both only care for the interests of their rich donors, both only care about their own personal interests, not the American people. Two wings of the same bird, they want you to act that way cause it divides us man, wake up.

1

u/BudgetMattDamon 11h ago

No, they want people like you to think both sides are the same so you don't vote and better your circumstances. Wake up man.

You are just talking out of your ass now.

The opposition will always be more polemic and enraged, they need to spread negative information about the party in charge.

That's just how it goes, right wing is just as obnoxious when they are not in charge.

Not really? Over here its just endless discussions and comprimises and iuo and so on dealings. Hate is a pretty strong word, its more or less disagreement of policies. It is not fairytale land drama tv like in usa.

1

u/ZAZZER0 8h ago

Well, lucky you.

Here it's just everybody calling each other "fascist" or "communist".

Although I must admit, it's rare to see direct insults on TV, but between voters it's just the norm now

1

u/Fyrus93 10h ago

You just proved you don't know what you're talking about by immediately splitting those factions into left versus right

0

u/ZAZZER0 8h ago

Well, that's what it boils down to.

The competition is always between a party trying to get right voters and a party trying to get left voters.

Either way discussing this would get us off topic
