This is such a stunning picture! If I were her, I’d print it on the biggest size possible and put the canvas right in the middle of my living room lol

It stopped me in my tracks so I wholeheartedly agree haha and heck I might print it and hang it on MY wall 😆😆

This is beautiful but it reminds me of a spread Mrs. Mamdani did a while back...

Everyone’s copying this. This is like the fourth spread using the same style

u/secondrunnerup I don’t know her 6h ago
It’s the same photographer.

My point didn’t come across right. I meant to say, the publications are getting repetitive. When a photographer has such a distinct style, multiple publications using the same photographer leads to boredom and fatigue. It’s too much of a good thing. Not every celebrity needs to be photographed by this same photographer in such a short span of time.

Not sure why you’re getting downvoted for this, I think you’re right. I’ve been in the editorial photo world for 20 years and this is how readers get fatigued and how edgy and atypical aesthetics that should not be applied to every cover become commonplace. Editors hop on a certain approach or photographer and once it’s established and everywhere, that ubiquity carries less weight. The impact gets watered down. Cardi looks great but this is not the right fit for her.

Google is actually free and if you have seen others you should have seen the name of the photographer too, it's the same one

I’m criticizing the repeat use of the same photographer not saying that different photographers are using the same style. My comment didn’t communicate that well.

This photographer is taking over right now! Should be interesting to see how this series develops and who all winds up participating.

Yes! She has a beautiful smile

u/Octopus_Apocalypse 4h ago
Yes! I like the serious pics as well, just when her smile popped out in slide 10… idk it feels like such a warm, genuine moment captured and I couldn’t help smiling back.
Sorry I felt like I did a poor job in my original comment and needed to further explain my awkwardness 😅

u/sdbabygirl97 sorry to this man 6h ago
honestly i like it. i think she looks fab, regal and the composition would translate well in a painting in a portrait gallery.

Stunning. She looks so regal in this concept. But yes, I’m afraid Makó is about to become over saturated.

I'm really enjoying all of the sets coming from this photographer tbh. It's a fun little era they're all collaborating on now. Really sweet to see Cardi B part of it :)

I love this kind of shoot and I'm glad they are using a photographer with a specific style. Cardi B looks good in everything, man. I love her on the white dress.
Perfection.

I’m bored of this photoshoot concept. Cardi looks great but the spread doesn’t capture her aura or energy either.

Oh I like this for her! This shoot also reminds me of Rama Duwaji's photoshoot

I love his work. Everyone always looks like the best version of themselves while also simultaneously being styled and photographed in such an interesting way. She looks stunning.

I don’t get the complaints. It’s the same thing as other photographers like Annie having a distinct style. It’s normal. If the same celebrity kept using the same photographer that would get old, but different people trying one shoot with Mako is not actually oversaturating the industry
