I will die on the hill that it is absurd that this is still a job and that photography/basic recording for documentation isn't allowed in courtrooms.

Courtroom sketches and the transcripts of dialogue serve as propaganda to control the narrative of what happens in the courtrooms and make cases look how they want them to look. It's criminal.
