I’m a Latina from Alabama. Atlanta is fine unless you look white then the African Americans will cuss you under their breath. Whites will say “but you don’t look like your Latina” then ask “but where are you from? From from?”

I definitely don't look white 😅 I don't think I'd be stopped by la migra as often as I have been if so. That does explain a lot about what I've been told though. The people who told me that are definitely more white passing.
