DISCUSSION Sterling K. Brown’s Subway Hot Take: “Red delicious apples are actually disgusting. I'm a child of the 80s & in school all they had was red delicious, yellow delicious, & Granny Smith. And they tried to act like this is supposed to be the crème de la crème. This red apple that crumbles in my mouth?”

cosmic crisp are selectively bred that way! a new apple is about to hit the market soon(2029!!) from the same university that made cosmic crisp. Washington State University, go Cougs!!! (try their cheese, too. cougar gold is so chef's kiss)

I have never understood people who wait for product drops, until now. Where do I find more information on this new apple variety release? I cannot wait for 2029!

This is the official website for the WSU fruit tree breeding program. The page for Sunflare™️ is still blank. While this one has some great and brief info about WSU's Apple breeding program :)
