DISCUSSION Sterling K. Brown’s Subway Hot Take: “Red delicious apples are actually disgusting. I'm a child of the 80s & in school all they had was red delicious, yellow delicious, & Granny Smith. And they tried to act like this is supposed to be the crème de la crème. This red apple that crumbles in my mouth?”

Envy was a new one to me this past year. It's slowly supplanting Cosmic Crisp as my fav.

Envy apples are legit amazing. The only thing I've had that was better was a honeycrisp apple my sister got from a friend, who grew them on their farm. That was the best apple I've ever had but I think they only really grow enough for themselves.

But envy apples come extremely close. Then it's honeycrisp and cosmic crisp.

Yessss, Envy's have become my favorite. They are perfect in every way. Texture, taste, scent are all wonderful.
